Our clinic is helmed by Dr. Vikram Sonawane, a Mayo Clinic Fellowship-trained Senior Consultant Endocrinologist with a proven track record of over 8 years in Endocrinology. Dr. Vikram is well-trained in Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) Biopsy and has established Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) FNAC clinic, which significantly streamlines the evaluation and diagnosis of the thyroid gland.
As our specialist has in-depth knowledge about a broad spectrum of endocrine issues and is proficient in performing Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), your condition will be diagnosed promptly, optimising your

This is the personal philosophy of Senior Consultant Endocrinologist Dr Vikram Sonawane, the founder of Harmony Thyroid, Endocrinology and Diabetes Centre (also known as Endocrine Harmony Clinic).
Dr Vikram chose to specialise in endocrinology because he is passionate about how endocrine wellness is critical for vitality. When the endocrine system functions optimally, it contributes to overall well-being, energy levels, and emotional stability. The path of an endocrinologist is meaningful to him since he can truly empower his patients by optimising their endocrine health. With this in mind, he earned his post-graduate degree, becoming an endocrinologist accredited by Singapore’s Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST). He then did a prestigious fellowship at one of the world’s top clinics, the USA’s distinguished Mayo Clinic. This helped him to gain valuable in-depth knowledge about Clinical Thyroidology, Nodular Thyroid Disease, and Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy of the thyroid.
After his thorough specialist training and working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s Endocrinology Department for over 8 years, he decided to establish his private clinic, enabling him to have even more ample time for discussions with patients. Endocrine Harmony Clinic was born to offer a nurturing environment where patients address hormonal imbalances and cultivate the roots of enduring health.
